Rheumatology Spotlight
Michaeal A. Cassetta, D.O. is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Cassetta completed his fellowship in Rheumatology at Mt. Sinai in New York and joined our group on July 1, 2004. Rheumatology involves the diagnosis and treatment of disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis and bursitis, low back pain, fibromyalgia, gout and osteoporosis. Because of the chronic nature of many of these conditions, their treatment requires time, patience and the establishment of a strong doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Cassetta comes to our practice possessing not only superior clinical training, but the warmth, understanding and caring that will enable him to provide the highest quality rheumatologic care to our patients.
We would like to thank everyone that attended Dr. Cassetta's Arthritis seminar at the Trumbull Library for making it a great success. We look forward to having more educational programs in the future.
